Hi I got the F18 from flights sim.to and the process worked fine but I have since followed all of the instructions but the further items I have downloaded still don’t appear on MSFS! Any ideas anyone?

This is really helpful. It's absolutely INSANE that Microsoft don't bother including instructions for aircraft with the game. You're just supposed to guess, with a plane whose controls bear no similarity at all to a regular civilian plane.

I can do whatever I want. I unpacked the ZIP file of the add-on correctly and moved it to the community folder. It just doesn't show up in the flight simulator. I also searched the whole computer for "community" and copied the file into every damn community folder, but nothing worked :-( I also checked several times that the add-on was unpacked and copied correctly. I installed the flight simulator via the Xbox app on Drive e: and according to your video my community folder is on E:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator Update\Community

What can i do if my community folder doesn’t work

Kip I have a question for you. Is it possible to plan a visual approach to a specific runway using the GTN 750? Not sure if this is possible. Thanks for your input!

My wishes for Msfs 2024 is better graphics but more optimised especially on ground and airports - better UI For menu’s, MP careers, co-piloting, better atc. 🤞ooh and some reductions in GB for everything all the planes, airports, scenery your starting to look at TB now 😮

Looks good value for buy and pretty good, although I do struggle to like flying the slower panes and mostly like bud jets or at least the M500 or TBM’s speed at least.

Does the auto pilot trim the rudder in ILS approach? Just wandering as when on the ground my rudder is everywhere after an ILS landing. is there something I’m missing to resolve?

This evening I tried to plan a VFR flight from KBKL to KPIT. I didn't see the option to select a VFR approach to a specific runway within the flight planner. I tried multiple airports with no success. Has something changed?

Atm i got my hat switch on joystick for a pitch up and down, it strange one works in others and works for learjet on ground setting the pitch for takeoff but in the air it doesn't seems to work well, it works but is unreliable and often causes trouble for me - seems more accurate to sue the yoke with mouse but I have to play around and see if I can get a finer control for the pitch as struggling atm. I also find looking down to see the pitch trim angle is a pain and wish it was on the dash but that not where it is in plane a lot have near throttles but in sim unless tobi trackers it hard to look, pitch and do accurately I find.

I'm tempted by this but the panel (to me) has a feeling of the cartoonish look of some of the FSX panels. Maybe it's just because there are so many different colors.

I hear you on the in game checklist and FSW really needs to put more work into their EFB. At least give the options to turn off the battery depletion or simulate it realistically with a charging cable that can be connected or disconnected. Also what tablet lasts only 2 hours?

Hey Kip. I've sat through a lot of these kind of vids - and sadly been lost in the complexity and the way it's delivered. Often its like listening to an auctioneer 'Click this, hit v-ref, then set bugs and...' and I think WTF? But I have to tell you buddy, your presentation and teaching skills are absolutely first class. You diction and pacing (even to a fussy Englishman) are perfect, your anticipation of potential pitfalls and questions we'd ask are also on point (as you guys would say lol) All in all a really great tutorial. You've certainly helped this aspiring DA-62 Pilot and I can't thank you enough.
